Dia de los Muertos Blog Hop

WELCOME TO EL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS BLOG HOP, A CELEBRATION OF LIVE!!!

If you came here from Celeste www.ccscards.blogspot.com

you are exactly in the right spot!!!
I am so excited that you have all joined ABBY ( www.scrapbookaholicbyabby.com )
and Gaby ( www.gabycreates.com )for this awesome Hop! There are 12 amazing blogs, some will have giveaways!!! but all will have some awesome Celebration Themed Inspiration for you! I was thrilled when GABY asked me to join her blog hop in celebration of el Dia de los Muertos, and we were asked to create a Celebration of Live themed project for the blog hop inspired by choosing something that your loved ones loved...
Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos) is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and other countries. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration occurs on November 1 and 2. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. The Day of the Dead is a time of celebration. (www.wikipedia.org)

So for my Celebration of Live I was inspired in my Grandmother Carmen Camahu, we called her like that, jejeje and I made a Explosion Box!!! in honor of her!!! She love to bake cakes and make special dishes for my brothers and me!!! The outside of the box I create the themed using Rock Princess and for the inside is partner paper and i will included recipes from her!!! I hope you like it!!!

I will give away the Cricut Cartridge HAPPY HAUNTINGS!!!
In order to enter to win the prize, followers just leave a comment on this post!!!
I will draw the winner on wednesday via random.org

Also do not forget to make sure you comment on ALL of the posts on each blog in order to be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE PACK.

Wow! Explosive boxes are just plain fun, but yours is even more fun than normal!!! How cool that you used it to honor your grandmother! (I know that's part of the celebration, haha.) But wow, I'm amazed at what a great job you did making me see the love between you and her. When I first glanced at the box it looked like a birthday cake. The pearls on the crown look like the flame on a candle. Great job!!!
